Multi-city Press Conferences to launch Canadians for Equal Marriage Election Campaign

Canadians for Equal Marriage will launch their cross-country election campaign at press conferences on Wednesday, April 28, 2004. Canadians for Equal Marriage (CEM) is a nation-wide, bilingual campaign made up of individuals and organizations from all walks of Canadian life and all political stripes, including those with no political affiliation. CEM representatives and partners will be in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver, to announce plans for the upcoming federal election, including a partial list of our top priority election races. CEM will illustrate its intentions by applying a big red “Defeat” and a big green check mark to an oversized election ballot.
