Supreme Court to Deliver Decision in Egan Case
On Thursday, May 25, 1995, the Supreme Court of Canada will deliver its decision in the landmark gay rights case Egan & Nesbit v Canada. This is the first Charter of Rights case dealing with same-sex relationship recognition to be considered by the Supreme Court.
EGALE (Equality for Gays and Lesbian Everywhere) intervened in support of the appeal.
