  • Participate in regular planning meetings, give regular updates to the designated Egale staff member, and contribute to the planning process;
  • Coordinate comprehensive and legible note-taking for the events;

Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of the issues impacting the local Trans community;
  • Experience organizing similar community-oriented events;
  • Good contacts within and/or experience working with the Edmonton Trans community;
  • An understanding of and commitment to the principles of anti-oppressive community organizing and the ability to put these principles into practice;
  • Good oral and written communication ability, tact and good judgment.

Notes

All qualified candidates will be considered. Candidates who themselves identify as transsexual, transgender, or otherwise as members of the Trans community are encouraged to apply.
