This Monday, December 20, the United Nations General Assembly will vote on whether to include protection for LGBT people in a crucial resolution on extrajudicial executions and other unlawful killings.

Update on Bill C-389, An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code (gender identity and gender expression)

Bill C-389 passed report stage on December 8 with 143 votes in favour and 131 against. As such, it will now move on for debate and third reading in late February or early March.
