Parliamentary Reaction

While the courts have been clear on the issue of same-sex marriage, parliament has been very divided. Same-sex marriage was discussed in cross-country hearings in Spring 2003, in the Liberal caucus in the Summer, and in an Alliance motion in the Fall.
