Media Advisory: Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Bill

Toronto: Adrian Jjuuko is a Ugandan lawyer who heads the legal team for the Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Constitutional Law, the organization that has been leading the resistance to Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Bill. The Bill has recently been revived with all of its offensive provisions, including the death penalty; it could become law in Uganda within 30 days.

Mr. Jjuuko will be meeting with Ontario's Minister of Training Colleges and Universities, the Hon. Glen Murray, MPP this morning, 5 March 2012, and will be introduced to the Ontario Legislature at 10:30 A.M. He will be available for media interviews thereafter. He returns to Kampala later today.
