Federal Party Responses to Egale's 2011 Election Questionnaire

The 2011 federal election is in full swing. As always, leaders and candidates are battling it out to shape the terms of debate and frame the scope of issues on which this election will be won and lost. While we all have something to say about the major challenges facing our country, the ways in which these issues uniquely impact the LGBT community are often ignored. As such, Egale has compiled a list of questions outlining some of the more prominent concerns of the LGBT community in Canada. We sent the questionnaire to each of the four federal parties, asking for a response by Friday, April 15th, 2011. We will post the parties' responses below as we receive them. Make sure you read through the responses before heading to the polls on May 2nd!
