Statement on Egale Canada / MyGSA Privacy Policy

Egale Canada delivers diversity and education services and programming across the country. In the course of this work, Egale interacts with and offers assistance to many students, parents and educators who are involved with or wish to start a gay-straight alliance/club or other initiative aimed at combating homophobia and transphobia in schools and creating safer and more inclusive spaces for LGBT students, staff and parents.

It is Egale Canada's policy not to publicize or comment on student clubs that have chosen not to register on MyGSA.ca. It is out of respect for the privacy and confidentiality of these individuals, and an appreciation for the sensitivity of the issues and circumstance involved, that Egale maintains a strict adherence to this policy. Under no circumstances will Egale identify or speak publically about individuals, clubs or schools that have chosen not to do so themselves.
